We have officially been living in Alaska for a month now. We are still getting settled. We have been in our apartment for 2 weeks and are almost unpacked...We have all the essentials unpacked, but our apartment is a bit smaller than our old townhouse, so we are still trying to figure out where to put everything. It has been a bit of an adjustment, getting used to being in a new place, away from family, friends and everything we were familiar with, but we love it so far. It is absolutely beautiful here. I mean completely breathtaking. Pictures really don't do it justice. We live in a small town, and love the laid back, slow pace and warm vibe it has. Jasmine and I decided to do this blog to keep everyone up-to-date on everything. Especially during our first year living here and exploring our beautiful new surroundings. I am going to take some time and work on designing an amazing blog, so bare with me. In the mean time, here are a few pics.

| Our neighborhood is in a wooded area, so we are surrounded by beautiful trees. This picture was taken our of our dining room window around 11:45pm. We are getting used to it being light most of the time. |

| We went down to Anchor Point and walked on the beach last night. This is the Cook Inlet, we love being at the beach and looking at the surrounding snow covered mountains and glaciers. |
